Edge Guarding
This is the rinse and repeat, don't overcomplicate it, just keep using back air edgeguard. Remember to keep it simple and keep it smart.
Important: Flowchart by Pipsqueak written by Luu
- Avoid getting hit by up-b at all costs
- If you do get hit, be prepared to reversal Captain Falcon becuase you probably can
- Start by looking at where Captain Falcon is: is he just above the stage, far away from the stage and very high, just below stage, or below stage with a jump?
- Just above the stage
- If downsmash can hit, then use it and grab ledge
- If dtilt can hit, then use it and grab ledge
- If ftilt can hit, then use it and grab ledge
- If fair can hit, then use it and grab ledge
- If bair can hit, then use it and grab ledge
- If jab can hit, then use it and grab ledge
- If nair can hit, then use it and grab ledge
- Far away from the stage and very high
- Just back air by jumping and reaching out there
- If you miss, then grab ledge (you are faster, just believe)
- Just below stage
- Grab ledge and back air
- If you need to, needle and then downsmash once they get close to the ledge
- Below stage with a jump
- If they immediately jump:
- Grab ledge
- Back air
- Neutral air
- If they hold their jump:
- Go out there and hit them
- Return back to ledge and then get back on stage to react to their next recovery
- If they immediately jump:
- Just above the stage
